Effective date: July 17, 2026
These Terms of Use govern the UseMyCurrentAccount++ browser extension (the "Extension"). By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these terms.
The Extension helps a user-selected Microsoft account participate in sign-in flows in the current browser profile. It may add Microsoft-supported account or domain hints to top-level navigation on login.microsoftonline.com when the application did not already provide its own OAuth/OIDC account or domain hint, and may select one exact matching visible account-picker tile. It does not authenticate the user, bypass Microsoft security controls, or guarantee that a prompt will be skipped.
The Extension is provided under the MIT License in LICENSE. These Terms apply to use of the distributed Extension; the MIT License governs use of its source code.
You are responsible for:
- Choosing the correct account and app approval or exclusion rules.
- Reviewing local diagnostics before relying on automation.
- Complying with your organization's policies and all applicable laws.
- Keeping your browser, device, and Microsoft account secure.
Do not use the Extension to access an account or system without authorization.
The Extension processes settings, Microsoft sign-in context, and visible picker information locally as described in the Privacy Policy. When URL rewriting is enabled, it sends the configured account or domain hint directly to Microsoft's sign-in service as part of the sign-in request. It does not collect passwords, authentication tokens, cookies, or PINs, and it does not operate a developer-controlled backend.
Microsoft sign-in services, tenant policies, multifactor authentication, Conditional Access, consent, and other security requirements remain under Microsoft's and the relevant organization's control. UseMyCurrentAccount++ is an independent project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Microsoft.
The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or compatibility with every Microsoft sign-in flow. Microsoft or browser changes may affect its behavior. Features or these Terms may be updated when necessary; material changes will be published with the Extension's source and release notes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and copyright holders are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, access, revenue, or business arising from use of or inability to use the Extension.
You may stop using the Extension at any time by disabling or removing it. Removal also deletes its local extension storage according to browser behavior.
