LCSC information provider: search by MPN isn't working

Describe the bug
I already have info from DigiKey for the Murata GRM31CR60J227ME11L and wanted to add info from LCSC. I looked it up by MPN, but got "no results found":

I got the LCSC SPN from here and tried again with that...it worked:

Expected behavior
LCSC part lookups by MPN should work. They have in the past.

There is this note in the docs:

Might this be an instance of the possible breakage that we were warned about?

Probably.
Part-DB does not use the new offical LCSC API (which hobbyists cannot get access to), but some reverse engineered ones which LCSC use for their webpage.
There is no documentation for it and stuff can easily break when LCSC changes something. Probably they did that here and changed how the search endpoint works.

I am not even sure if LCSC uses the search API that is used by Part-DB itself anymore.
