Add 4 Software resources: Tabularis, Portabase, dbui, dbsafe (#145)
- Tabularis: open-source desktop SQL workspace with built-in MySQL/MariaDB driver, SQL notebooks, visual EXPLAIN, and an MCP server for AI agents. https://github.com/TabularisDB/tabularis - Portabase: self-hosted backup/restore platform for MySQL, MariaDB, and other databases with a dashboard + per-database Rust agents. https://github.com/Portabase/portabase - dbui: terminal UI database client for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. https://github.com/KenanBek/dbui - dbsafe: pre-execution safety analysis CLI for MySQL DDL/DML statements. https://github.com/nethalo/dbsafe Also fixes a pre-existing build-breaking bug: the logo.png for designcomputer-mysql-mcp-server was actually JPEG data mislabeled as PNG, which made Hugo's image processing fail with "divide by 0" and broke `hugo --minify` on main. Re-encoded it as a real PNG, same pixels. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01FgZP8Zuh8anNnUdq28pkii Co-authored-by: Claude <noreply@anthropic.com>

dbsafe inspects a DDL or DML statement before it runs and never modifies data itself. For schema changes it detects which MySQL algorithm applies (INSTANT, INPLACE, or COPY) based on the target MySQL version, distinguishing cases like a column rename (INPLACE) from a type change (COPY) by checking the live schema. It estimates impact from table size, row count, and replication lag, generates chunked and batched scripts for large DELETE/UPDATE operations, and can produce idempotent stored-procedure wrappers guarded with `IF NOT EXISTS`. Output can be plain text, JSON, or Markdown, with the structured formats aimed at CI/CD pipelines.

It supports MySQL 8.0.x and 8.4 LTS, Amazon RDS MySQL 8.x, Aurora MySQL 3.x, Percona XtraDB Cluster / Galera 8.x, and Group Replication 8.x; it does not support MySQL 5.7 or MariaDB. On Aurora, which is incompatible with gh-ost's storage-layer replication, dbsafe auto-detects the topology and recommends pt-osc instead. dbsafe is released under the Apache License 2.0 and installs via a `curl | sh` script or by building from source with Go 1.23+.

dbui is a terminal database client built in Go with the tview library. It connects to multiple data sources and instances at once, lists schemas and tables, previews table contents, and runs custom SQL queries against a selected table or schema, with status/warning/error messaging, full-screen and focus modes, and mouse support. It runs on macOS, Linux, and Windows.
16+
17+
It can be installed via Homebrew (`brew tap kenanbek/dbui && brew install dbui`), `go install github.com/kenanbek/dbui@latest`, `.deb`/`.rpm` packages from its releases page, or built from source. dbui is released under the Apache License 2.0.

Portabase pairs a central dashboard server with per-database agents: agents run next to each database instance and pull work from the server rather than accepting inbound connections, so backups and restores happen without exposing database credentials to the server directly. It supports MySQL 5.7, 8, and 9, and MariaDB 10 and 11, with restore supported for both, alongside PostgreSQL, SQLite, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, Firebird, Redis, Valkey, Docker volumes, and file-based archives and snapshots.
22+
23+
The dashboard can be installed via an automated CLI, Docker Run, Docker Compose, Unraid Community Apps, or a Kubernetes Helm chart; agents are distributed as Docker images, a Helm chart, or source. The project is released under the Apache License 2.0, and some features (such as MSSQL backups as DACPAC) have been built through sponsor-funded development while remaining fully open source.

Tabularis is a desktop SQL client for Windows, macOS, and Linux, built with Tauri. MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and SQLite ship as built-in drivers, with more than twenty additional databases — ClickHouse, DuckDB, MongoDB, Redis, SQL Server, Oracle, Cassandra, and others — available as official or community plugins loaded over a JSON-RPC-over-stdio protocol that lets plugins be written in any language.
21+
22+
Beyond a Monaco-based SQL editor, it offers SQL notebooks (SQL and Markdown cells with cross-cell variables and charts), a visual query builder, an interactive ER diagram, a data grid with inline editing, and a visual EXPLAIN view that renders a query plan as a graph. Optional AI features add text-to-SQL using providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or a locally run Ollama model, and a built-in MCP server (`tabularis --mcp`) exposes a connected database's schema and query execution to MCP clients like Claude Code, Cursor, and Devin.
23+
24+
Tabularis is released under the Apache License 2.0 and distributed via winget, Homebrew, Snap, Flatpak, AUR, and direct installers for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
