Hi there,
I've found a somewhat intermittent layout issue that happens when switching to and from rooms which don't have a topic set.
My typical session looks like this and the weechat buffer title is at the normal height.
Next I move to a room with a topic. Still looking good.
Then I go to the room without a topic. The filter widget and room widget (at the top) immediately expand in height.
Next I move to a room with a topic set and the widgets shrink in height.
I discovered that if I return to the weechat buffer (or one of the other server buffers) I can reset something. Here the weechat buffer appears as expected.
Now I can go to the empty topic room and the widget height doesn't change.
I can replicate this error on the macOS build of 1.7.58 and my own build of the master branch on linux (arch running inside a distrobox on ubuntu 24.04 LTS host).
Also, this does happen on another tilde.town channel which has an empty topic. My thinking is that this eliminates the channel, in the example screen shots, as being the cause of the problem.
If you could take a look at this sometime, I would really appreciate it. Let me know if you need any more info.
Thanks, Joel (innerteapot in irc)
