do onPressIn press animation on the item but not on scroll start

I'm adding scale transitions to my list rows onPressIn and onPressOut so that they follow the haptics of my buttons before navigating to their detail route. without adding an artificial delay via unstable_pressDelay={140} I get the press in also when I start scrolling. this seems like what claude suggests as "standard way around this" but I wonder if there is a better solution here. Any advice?
