Are clang-diagnostic-tautological-xxx really medium severity

[Tsht]

I ask myself if it should not be classified in high severity ?

https://clang.llvm.org/docs/DiagnosticsReference.html#wtautological-compare

As it can easily lead to runtime error, shouldn't this be upgraded to high ?
Or maybe this is not the definition of a high severity report ?

Yes, high severity indicates runtime error. Could you, please, share an example where a tautological comparison leads to a runtime error? Thank you!

imho it may indicate that your application is flawed, but it's not related to runtime issues like undefine behaviour or such.

That's right, and this is exactly the definition of "medium" severity level: https://github.com/Ericsson/codechecker/blob/master/config/config.md

Ok, there are many subcategories of tautological comparison I suppose none of them are causing directly runtime errors. I think it can cause UB like out of bound tautological compare, but it's not "directly" the consequence and I did not check if there are any cases where it supersedes a possible runtime error. I hope not...
