Is there a way to make feeds display as a single column?

Is there a way to make the feeds display as a single column on a larger screen?

I'm on Android, and I have the layout set to plain single column and full width, but the feeds are still showing as three separate columns.
I can't tell if these settings aren't working or if they don't do what I think they're supposed to do.

You can turn on deck mode if you want to browse a timeline as single column.

Not really what I'm looking for, unfortunately. I was really hoping for a single-column feeed with everything. Mastodon and bluesky in one place. One column with each new post as a new row.

With the three column layout, I find that much text side by side to be distracting and difficult to focus on. Even for the individual bluesky/mastodon feeds it's too overwhelming. So, I take it that such a feature doesn't exist.

Can I ask what those settings I mentioned do, then?

Plain mode only takes effect in the single-column layout. It removes the default card-style design from posts.
Full width changes the text layout inside each post: instead of aligning the text content to the right of the avatar, it lets the content span the full width of the post. You should be able to see the difference pretty clearly when toggling it.
