F-Droid listing

SmarterTube is currently sideload-only via GitHub Releases (+ Obtainium). This issue tracks evaluating a F-Droid listing — which needs a reproducible-build metadata setup.

Status: not actively pursued, lower priority. Help / experience welcome.

IzzyOnDroid half: closing as wontfix.

IzzyOnDroid's inclusion policy bars apps built with AI assistance. SmarterTube is developed with AI assistance and we will not scrub the Co-Authored-By trailers from our commit history to qualify — that history is accurate and we intend to keep it honest. So an IzzyOnDroid listing is ruled out.

This issue is retitled and kept open to track only the F-Droid evaluation (F-Droid does not have the same AI-assistance bar). Distribution remains GitHub Releases + Obtainium for now.
