[BUG]: show UI on next video, auto hide UI - Never

Steps to reproduce the bug

version 1.1 i have selected the same options
version 1.2 i have selected the same options

in player settings i have selected - Never - for Auto Hide UI, this works but i have to tap the screen to show UI on every video
BUT
i have also selected - Show Player UI on next video -, but the UI is not there on next video , i have to tap the screen to show UI on every next video. yes Player UI behaviour is - Auto Hide UI - is Never - once i tap the screen

Thanks for the detailed report. I wasn't able to reproduce this on the current SmarterTube build (v0.4.2-beta.7+st31.94) on a test device, in either portrait or landscape: with Auto-hide UI = Never and "Show player UI when switching to the next video" = On, the controls reappear automatically on the next video as expected (both on playlist/queue auto-advance and manual Next).

To help pin it down, could you provide:

1. A logcat captured across one auto-advance (so we can see the show/hide sequence). Easiest via adb logcat, or enable in-app logging if available.
2. The exact app version you're on now (the version string from About).
3. The precise steps — is the next video reached by playlist/queue auto-advance (previous video ends on its own), or by tapping Next? Single video with autoplay, or an explicit playlist/queue?
4. Whether it happens on both your devices (Xiaomi 14 Ultra + Huawei MatePad) or just one.
